Maree Kilmartin

Maree Kilmartin is the creator, Imagineer and heart & soul of Enchanted Australia Castle and has created the entire concept of the castle from late September 2006 onwards. Maree will be the entertainment manager and the guardian of the Holy Grail Chapel.

She is the webmaster for this website as well as over a dozen more for friends, has qualifications in:

She has, over the years; also dabbled in the music industry as a Promoter, Advertising, Archeology, Criminal Psychology, Colonial Convict research, Family history research, Paranormal research & has interests in Forensics, Forensic metallurgy, Forensic Archeology & Genealogical study in the effects of changes in genetics from change in environment. The Medieval & Renaissance eras, their sociology and their costumes have played a huge part in her life since about the age of five. Has done some artwork in the past but prefers craft.
  • Maree currently does research for ghost tour operators,  famous Aussie Cryptonaturalist Tim The Yowie Man (per their new book on Haunted Canberra yet to be released), confidential research for celebrities, research for movie directors & script writers.
  • Currently has credits in an Asian movie about ghosts for research; Cast Director for Sameer Puri written/directed/produced film Delhi Boom and writing a medieval comedy book which already has a large following before being published shortly.

Tahnja Wolter ~ NSW, Australia





  • Tahnja Wolter is an incredible artist, photographer, musician, singer & fashion designer from Central Coast NSW.  Tahnja will be co owner of Enchanted Australia Castle but will continue to live on the Coast so she can leave her two beautiful daughters in school. 
  • Was born in Hamburg, Germany in 1971 & orphaned at the age of 16. She began singing professionaly in 1987 with a cabaret group in Sydney, Australia.
  • Employed as an Promotions Assistant for BMG Records 1987-89 ..... Developed enduring friendship with Jim Shipstone (then Director for BMG Publishing and now President of his own Indie Label in Australia) who continues to mentor my musical career aspirations.
  • Portrayed Mary Magdalene in sold-out production of Jesus Christ Superstar in1989 - 90.
  • Employed by The Australian Music Report, compiling the Top 100 Charts of Singles and Albums from 1990 through 91.
  • Married in 1992, bringing two adorable daughters into the world in 1994 and 1995, I continued to pursue a musical career by composing a multitude of songs, while fulfilling motherly devotions.
  • In 1997, 98 and 99, She repeatedly submitted compositions to The Dolphin Awards, which is a national original artists songwriting competition held annually in Australia.
  •   Nominated for multiple categories in each of those three consequitive years;
  • Ultimately won Best New Talent and performed on radio, television and various showcases held for the nominees and winners of this competition.
  • Went to America in August of 2001, where she routinely performed as the lead-singer for six bands and three duos; ..... completed her first CD through UBR Records in New Orleans, Louisianna; ..... co-wrote with Gary Hannan, a Grammy-winning songwriter for suchartists as George Thoroughgood, Lonestar and Montgomery Gentry; ..... Performed privately for Harold Shedd, high profile producer. ..... Regularly performed with world class musicians who played with such greats as; ZZ Top, Eric Clapton, Parliament, George Clinton, Gatemouth Brown.
  • She then left America in 2004 to return to her children and is now pursuing a musical career in Australia, is also a professional artist working on book illustrations, portraits and many varied projects as well as designing her own fashion line to be released in 2008.

Kirsten Pender ~ NSW, Australia





  • Kirsten makes all her own costumes (including full suits) and has extensive experience making costumes and props of all kinds.
  •  She has worked in the theatre and the film industry and co- ran her own entertainment business for 7 years with her then husband until the end of last year. 
  • Kirsten also face paints, does kids parties and workshops, magic, balloon sculpture, act, am a professional make up artist, stilt walk, fire twirl, juggle a bit and many more circus things. Currently learning hula hoop tricks and some aerial and acrobatics.
  •  Also experienced in event organisation and public relations.

Rachel Crance ~ USA




Rachel Crance joins Enchanted Australia Castle as a Manager for the U.S. Troubadours Support Team. 

Rachel is also a Managed Care Coordinator for a major HMO in the United States, HealthPlus of Michigan.  Her position as a Coordinator has given her over 10 years experience in dealing with fundraisers, customer service, communications, state and federal agencies and businesses.

She has been writing poetry and short stories since the age of 11.  The National Library of Poetry has published her poetry in several books.  She is also a co-author of  a new book with Maree Agland.

Rachel is currently working towards her Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services/Social Work.  She is also the owner of Capricorn Mountain, which is a company dedicated to finding missing children and is an advocate for abused and neglected children in Genesee County, USA.   

Dean Ranel ~ NSW, Australia





Dean Ranel is a music artist, composer, producer, performer and engineer who has worked and toured with various bands of many musical styles.

He has also composed and produced music for theater, orchestra, ensembles, television and radio, has been a DJ/electronic music artist and has recently found a new home in the world of directing film and music video.

From 1998 to 2002 under the names "The One Project" and "Julius Cosmos" he was performing his own brand of electronic music live via synthesizers, CDS and computers for multimedia installations and dance parties.

These works developed into the first series of records which would become the music for his "rock and roll" project FRIENDS OF MAN.
In 2003, he released FRIENDS OF MAN - SONGS FOR HUMANS which first received airplay on local Sydney radio FBi with the song "Girls From Holland".

In 2004, the concept FRIENDS OF MAN became a live band performing on the east coast of Australia. He now continues to produce his own brand of rock and roll under the name FRIENDS OF MAN.

Dean was chosen as an Official Castle Knight because of his diverse abilities in the music industry and will play a major part in the castle, advertising soundtracks, entertainment, music engineering for the out door amp-theatre, function centres and functions. Dean is also scholared in the works of King Arthur and Merlin which are predominant in the castle.
